On 1 and 2 July 2025, the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority hosted in Tirana the workshop and B2B meeting of the ON CLOUD NINE+ project, funded by the Interreg IPA South Adriatic Programme.

Both activities brought together representatives from the aviation sector, insurance companies, tourism industry, and public authorities from Albania, Italy, and Montenegro, with the aim of strengthening cross-border cooperation and promoting a more sustainable and inclusive model of air connectivity in the region.

The workshop focused on harmonising the legal framework on liability in air transport and third-party insurance, while the B2B meeting served as a concrete step towards establishing partnerships and developing joint tourism itineraries supported by new air connections.
